what a total cluster !

not one good thing to say about this & no one at ebay gives a rats behind about how it effects the sellers.
Look at the clutter I'm looking at while trying to list a space heater...total guessing game as what Im supposed to do with this mess! FU ebay, simply FU especially for the lack of customer service I encountered when contacting them via phone, email, facebook.... no wonder so many sellers are flocking to other sites like mercari, CL, the Marketplace, poshmark....uhhg

Just learn to ignore all the item specifics apart from the required ones at the top of the list. It might make sense to take the time to enter the other specifics if you have many of the same item to sell but it is a complete waste of time if you have just one to sell. The new listing tool does take some time to get use to and even after you get use to it listing is much slower than using the old tool. Alas, resistance is futile.

I'm amending my first reply about listing earrings.........It's not just all those item specific choices - most of them don't make any sense for the item, but it's the time it takes to have to read through them to see what ebay thought you meant and filled in for you. 9 times out of 10 there is wrong information that I either have to change or delete. If you don't make sure the info is accurate you could open yourself to an item not as described case. This has become so stressful and time consuming.........why?? And of course approaching the 4th quarter too when we all want to be adding merchandise quickly for the holidays.
