At last, the much needed down day we have had planned. After today's listings are up, which are staged in TurboLister, and getting today's packages in the mail, it will finally be time for the two of us here to load up the Trailblazer, and head out to Wolf Creek Reservoir for our first time fishing in 3 decades.
I could now legally hang a Gone Fishin' sign on my door if I had a sign.

I'm jealous.
I hope you have a great time and catch a big one!

3 decades! You deserve to go! Like riding a bike, it will come back to you. Careful with that casting, I once ripped my husband's hat right off his head as he sat behind me in the boat. 🙂
I didn't hear the end of that for a long time.

Wolf Creek Reservoir was a bit of a disappointment. It really is not suitable for fishing due to lack of any regulations on wakes or boat speeds. All it took was one group of water skiiers zipping all around the edge of the lake to make fishing impossible.
Other than that, it was still nice just getting out there and away from the 'bay for a day. There were not a lot out there, but there was that one group mentioned above that pretty much ruined it for the few other individuals and groups that were trying to catch Black Krappie (the most likely spots being the areas around the edge of the lake).
We will hopefully try again next week, this time out at Brownlee Reservoir near the Snake River. At least they do have speed limits and anti wake regulations out there.
At least the Sales Fairy delivered about $50 worth of sales while we were away. Now to go smoke a bowl and chill for the evening.
