Final Value Fees

Just checked my invoice and although the final value fee for the category I sell in is 9%, I'm being charged 11% - anyone else had this?

Final Value Fees

It's VAT. It used to be a single line at the bottom of the invoice, now it is included on every individual line - I hadn't noticed it disappear from the bottom of the invoice...

Final Value Fees

I just received my monthly invoice From Ebay.  I noticed a few charges on my invoice that make no sense.  So now I have to call Ebay and wait on hold for 45 Minutes to speak with someone over seas that have no clue as to what they are talking about.  Once again, Ebay sneaks their hand in my pocket.  Everyone look very closely at your monthly invoices

You aren't giving much information, but is your category "Music, Books, DVDs, Movies"?  If so, the basic final value fee is 12%, and if you have these listed as TRS+, then you get a 10% discount off of the fee ... or 10.8%.

The final value fees for media were changed beginning 9/15/2018 as part of the Fall 2018 seller update.

Final value fees are applied to the selling price.

Final value fees may also be applied to a shipping charge ... and not necessarily the one the buyer paid.

Final value fee rates may also vary by category, by store subscription, by seller level, and by the listing's TRS+ status.

Without you giving us a specific example with all of that information, all we can really do is make wild guesses.

Until you have answers from Ebay for what these fees are that you question, you are just assuming Ebay is at fault.

Give us more information.  What is the description on the charges?  Maybe we can help you.
