Final Value Fee Scam?

    So with a Basic Store subscription, there's a huge discount on FVF's in certain categories. Specifically, Video Game Consoles.  The standard rate is 12.55%, but with a Basic Store sub. its 6.55%.  I'm still getting charged 12.55%.  I called eBay 3 times  since Oct 18th, and they admit its a glitch and will issue a credit for the errors, but I have yet to get a credit or any reply for that matter. I have a lot of inventory to move but I have no choice to stop selling until they fix the issue. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

If it is a known glitch, hopefully, they will have resolution soon - just so many glitches right now.

Reach out to e-Bay on social media and reference your prior interactions with e-Bay CS and the promises to resolve.

Include the transaction numbers, your Selling ID and an email/phone number to contact you.  Hit the message button in the upper right hand corner.  Good luck!

Which store subscription do you have? I think 12.5% is not changing with a store subscription.

Do you have the level of subscription that eBay calls "Basic," and not the lowest level, which is "Starter"?

After you sign up for a Store subscription, the new store rates apply to listings that started after you signed up for the Store.  Existing fixed price listings will switch over to the store rates when they roll over on their monthly renewal. If you want to get the store rates sooner, you have to end the listing and relist.

The Main category of "Video games and consoles" has several subcategories. Only the subcategory of "Consoles" has that nice 6.55% FVF rate.  Other subcategories (such as cables and accessories) have higher rates.
