File Exchange... 24 hours after "successful" upload

My wife and I figured we, for the time being, should consolidate our listings onto my Ebay account, so she downloaded her listings onto a CSV and I tried to upload a portion of them onto my account using File Exchange. After a few tweaks to tget everything accepted by Ebay, I got a message that the upload was successful and should be complete within 30 minutes. That was yesterday morning.

How long should this take? She can shut down her Ebay store for the time being (sales are down with the pandemic) and save us some money and we have 50,000 free listings available to us.

I've done smaller uploads ... the time it takes to upload completely varies, depending in server load.

Once the items have uploaded, the listings should show in your Active Listings immediately after upload ... and then the normal "up to 24 hours" to index in search.

If you look at the File Exchange page ... there should be a status (percentage) on the upload and a report that you can download to see any errors.

BTW, I'm not a big FE user ... this discussion might be better off over in "Tools and Apps", where the gurus hang out 🙂

Just out of curiosity ... did you look in your Drafts list to see if they were there?

Yes.. I did check status and the upload failed... don't know why but we are going to try to figure things out from our end
