Here's the thing though.  Ebay told you EXACTLY what the fees were.  You had no idea what 12.55% looked like right?  

All the information is available. 

So ebay lost a 1 time seller because the 1 time seller didn't educate themselves.  

You won't find another site where you get this kind of traffic, exposure and return.  This is from someone who sells on multiple online sites and locally.  

See you back selling when you find yourself actually doing the research.

Wrong, wrong, wrong! Ebay doesn't give us the traffic we once had. Many, many sellers complain about this every day. I make more money on my little ole web site then on big ole ebay. Some platforms don't even charge you to promote your item. You should get out more often, there is a real world developing right around you.

Cute.  The complainers have been here since the bay started.  

The traffic is here.  It's better on some of the products on some other platforms, but for what I sell here, I continue selling.  

I also sell on the river, FB, craigs, flea markets, etc.  I sell wherever I can make money.  I chose each platform based on the items I sell.  Must be doing something right, haven't had a boss in almost 20 years.

You must be a young.  Back before the internet if you wanted to consign anything for sell the split was anywhere from 35 to 50 percent to the venue.   If the fees seem too high you need to find a product with a profit ratio where the fee is less significant.

The world is passing you by. I haven't had a boss in 40 years. Went to work for someone then said the heck with this and went on my own never looked back. I was 18 at the time and broke with a kid on the way. I went beyond the norm and took a chance. I am now retired at 57.
