I am being charged a $25 monthly fee. I have not sold anything on Ebay in months nor do I have a sellers store. I am trying to find out how to avoid this fee. I tried closing my account and Ebay says my account cannot be closed.

Did you open a store:

You need to cancel all subscription and pay your bills before you can close.

What is the fee for that you are trying to avoid? Do you mean that it is an old debt that ebay is invoicing you for? What does the fee show it's for in your account?

You cannot cancel an account that owes money.
