Feedbacks

I had a negative feedback stated the sweater she bought was too big. I offer free returns and had all the measurements on the listing. Ebay told me that they can't remove the feedback unless the buyer agrees. I reached out to the buyer multiple times and even refund her the money she paid for the sweater plus the original shipping fee.  I understand that I shouldn't just focus on one transaction. But as a new seller, every feedback counts. Anything I can do at this point?

Thank you,

@as19947 It always stings to get that first negative. However, this is business and not personal. Anyone who reads that would realize the comment is an opinion only and not an actual negative against you as a seller. Your reply was kind and makes you look better. I would purchase from you with no issues. Try to concentrate on selling more items and this will fall to your second page where no one will notice it. Try to remain positive and put this behind. Best of luck to you....

The neg is no problem if anyone reads it.

And most buyers think 95% is a solid A.

You can add a further Response in a week or so (when the deadline for MBG has ended) saying "Did not return for refund".

I'd worry more about those two neutrals which reflect on your Descriptions. Do NOT respond to them since that draws attention on the page.

"Buyer can't read or do math" is alas not a good follow-up.  If it really bothers you, and the first one always stings you could write "Offered return for full refund."  Sorry you ran into a yahoo, OP; it happens to everyone sooner or later.

ebay lied to you, they can remove the feedback in the click of a button, they just choose not to.

The feedback should be removed as the listing clearly shows the tags and states the size.

Your buyers claim its too big is a personal problem, you aren't a manufacturer, and I would absolutely fight with ebay to remove the garbage feedback they left.

FB is too unimportant to waste much time about.

Most buyers don't read it. Why bother when there is a money back guarantee.

Ebay does not use it to evaluate your performance as a seller.

It is just an opportunity for a buyer to think they are more important than they are.

To further clarify, the feedback your buyer left is a product review, and does not belong in sellers feedback.

First, block the buyer. For what they paid for it they can give it to someone else. That feedback makes no sense.

First negative feedback does hurt...but just ignore it. It a silly feedback..."it was too big".

Apparently the buyer doesn't know their measurements.

You have enough listed items where that feedback will get buried rather quick.

Don't let one bad apple(buyer) ruin your day. To do what you do....list so many items...you are rocking!

"Its Too Big" is a product review, ebay is supposed to remove these types of feedback.

Feedback should be based on the accuracy of the listing and quality of service the seller provided, not an opinion of a manufacturer.

The listing is accurate, it clearly states the size, and the OP is not a manufacturer.

Its the same as the clown who left me a negative stating "This Game Sucks!" ebay removed it and rightfully so.

Seller will have to call numerous people in customer service to get the "one" who might remove it.

In your case...can't use the word "sucks"...in a sentence...which is why your feedback was removed.

Words like "mafia, thief, fake, crook" in a sentence a seller might get their feedback removed.

"It was too big"...highly unlikely that will be removed.

I had feedback removed of a buyer leaving just the word "fake". Sometimes a seller can get lucky.
