Feedback revision ?s

So a buyer left me incorrect/false positive feedback. It's the last feedback i received and is basically a negative. He left the same exact comment to another seller as a negative in the last 6 months.

How do i get this revised or removed. I would think it qualifies even though it is a positive.

I don't think it will qualify for removal. The negative positive rule only apply to feedback left for buyers. You didn't say if he opened a return.

Seriously? No one is going to bother to read all of that and then decide you are a bad seller. Buyers look at the % which isn't affected as this is a positive. Also this doesn't qualify for any removal because it's a green donut. It's a positive, and buyers are allowed to express their opinion. Just concentrate on your selling, you've obviously been selling for a long time here. You will be fine and this will move from your front page soon enough. Best of luck to you....

Obviously a mistake.  Simply request  a feedback revision to the buyer.  Be nice.

If that doesn't work, you can ask ebay.  You've got nothing to lose.

If that doesn't work,  worst case scenario is you'll have the positive feedback for a few months until it disappears/goes away.

Good luck and stay safe.

Worse case scenario is that the buyer will say "thanks, I meant to leave a red donut" and change it from green to red...

No one when looking at a seller looks at positives.  It will be buried soon enough.

When I check out a seller to decide if I want to buy from them I look at the neutrals and negatives and see what people are complaining about.  If a lot of people say they got a bad product I don't buy.

Feedback revision request cannot be sent to the buyer if the feedback rating was positive.  Only eBay can change or remove a comment that was left with a positive rating.

However, it would be possible for the buyer to leave a followup comment explaining that the original comment was indeed intended for a different seller.

It is a positive. Leave it alone, it will be buried in no time. To me it looks like there was a problem, the seller took care of it and the buyer left positive feedback.
