Sellers should be allowed to leave negative feedback if a buyer doesn't pay. I know it counts as a strike against them but feedback is a quick way to see their past behavior. Nothing makes me more irritated when a buyer bids against someone else for an item you are selling and then doesn't pay. Also, I think that the filter for blocking buyers with strikes against them should begin at 1 strike in 12 months instead of 2. I just don't have the time to deal with these deadbeats. If they haven't paid for 1 item in a year, that is enough for me to want to block them.

Okay. I was all set to reply to you and concur on a specific point and wondered what type of things you sell that might be causing issues for you - then looked at your first listing for $99 starting bid on a 12 pk of soda product.
People mess with those type of listings all the time.

Thank you for offering your opinion about buyers who don't pay. I assume you know what to do when that happens.
eBay probably is not going to change it to one strike in a year per your suggestion, and I guess you probably know that.
