Fee credits

I was informed by a customer service person that fee  credits will no longer be given on partial refunds if the refund is less than 85% percent of the sale price. Does this make any sense to anybody? No one issues partial refunds for any other reason other than to arrive at a solution for the buyer. Is this a reaction to abuse? I have never been granted a fee credit unless I was put on hold and the issue was researched. i just don' t get it because it hurts sellers that do not have the volume to absorb that cost. Help me out here folks. Tell me that I am wrong. Thanks

Fee credits

Ebay actually has never offered FVF credits for partial refunds on a regular basis.  For a long time if a seller called into Ebay and proved they did do a partial refund, they would do a curtesy credit.  I never did that as it would take much more of my time to call than the credit is worth.

I have heard that recently they did stop doing the credits when you call in.

I've always been of the opinion that Ebay needs to give us a vehicle on the site to apply for credits due to partial refunds.  But they clearly don't see it the same way I do.
