Sold an iphone last month, shipped off and delivered to the buyer. The buyer then got the item and said it wasn't as described and wanted to return it. We went though a dispute and he somehow won the case and was refunded. The buyer took two weeks to send the item, but now have received it. When setting up the iphone i have found out it has an activation lock on it as he has linked his icloud to it and has not removed it.
Contacted the buyer last week and still not heard nothing back. Rang ebay and they said there is nothing they can do.
Any thought?
Ben.

My thoughts? With the buyer - zero chance of them responding. With eBay - zero chance of them caring. See if there is a possible workaround via googling the problem or take it to an Apple store. I wouldn't waste any further time on the first two efforts because both equal zero. Good luck!

Buyers sometimes connect rarely-used email addresses to their eBay accounts. If you messaged the buyer, it is possible that they never received the message. You can go into the sales record for the transaction, and often there will be a phone number there. Try calling the buyer.
