1. No need to shout! Please turn off caps lock 🙂

2. Here is your answer:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/leaving-feedback-sellers/leaving-feedback-sellers?id=4007#automated...

eBay automated feedback

eBay automated feedback is automatically added to the seller’s account when a transaction is successfully completed. This positive feedback gives other eBay users confidence in this seller and in our marketplace. We only do this if the following criteria are met:

  • You didn't leave feedback within 7 days of delivery (as confirmed by tracking)
  • We can’t see any indication of an issue with the transaction
  • Tracking shows the item was delivered on time

Automated feedback from eBay will remain visible unless there is an indication that there was an issue with the transaction, for example the item was damaged or you opened a return. If this happens, we will remove the automated message.

You can still leave your own feedback within 60 days of delivery, in which case the automated feedback will be replaced with yours.

FEEDBACK

BECAUSE YOU DIDNT LEAVE ONE YOURSELF.

Do that and it will supercede ebay's auto benchmark.

Another new feature of eBay. If you don't leave a feedback, they will for you.

FEEDBACK

If Ebay is going to keep the FB system, they have decided they need to have the appearance of greater participation than just those who care about FB, which are a ever-decreasing minority of buyers and sellers.

Because they were afraid you'd leave one in all caps.

FEEDBACK

I dont think thats it.  If it was they wouldn't use the same exact generic feedback message which everyone can see is generated by the system.

I think they understand the basic rule that has always been in play.  In most successful transactions here no feedback generally means things were fine for both sides. "No news is good news."  Thats basically true.  If theres a problem there is no need to encourage feedback, it will be left.  If things are good, most of the time silence/no feedback means good.  They just want this to positively be marked on a sellers record.  And good sellers also get feedback left by buyers too, you will see that interspersed with system generated positive feedbacks.
