I have been selling on ebay every day for the past year (and occasionally before that). Today, it seems that it is taking near 3-5 hours for an item to be available in search. I believe there was an issue with this Monday as well. Has anyone else had this issue today?

Picture uploading issues again!! I got tired of wasting my time & I am going to go out for sushi. Hopefully things will be back to normal when I get back.

Is that what's causing the delay? Or is that an additional issue? Sushi sounds good...

Picture uploading is my only delay today and I assumed that was the OPs issue as well. Uploading errors, error message when rotating, pictures not showing up but seeing the polaroid image instead, etc. Just me?

Nope, I am talking about the listing to show up in searches. It is taking several hours. Usually this is something that happens in 5-10 minutes.

But we are told that it can take up to 24 hours.
I just did a half dozen postcard listings in under half an hour including fixing the scanner which for some reason will not scan if it is short on printing ink.

@reallynicestamps " .... Extreme Listing Delays Today ..."
Understatement.
As a buyer - cannot see merchant's latest listings.
Seller has to provide the link to each of the item listed in order to view and purchase.
The new item # given is no good too. The delay for new listings today is snail slow.
As a seller - new listings cannot be seen yet, although email messages confirmed
listings are 'live.' Blue churning circle going on forever for pictures downloading.
These activities seems always to fall on a Thurday.
At least, I have this thread to confirm that I am NOT the only one experiencing
this mumbojumbo. For a while, I thought my pc was taken over by gremlins.

Great--more than one glitch today. The pictures are working a bit better now. I never look to see when mine go live because I know it's pointless. But yesterday I had a buyer request an item, I relisted it, and he had purchased and paid within 5 minutes. He was in my postal zone, if that makes a difference in eBay world.

Can you pick me up an unagi roll please?

Yeah I expected it was everyone. I guess that's what I get for having an anchor store.

Yes, Indexing is not working, Search is BROKEN.
Seller listings totals in Stores and non-store are wrong.
And not just new listings but also revised listings and out of stock listings.
What else can ebay think of to distroy the site?

Oh great. I just settled in to list some extremely hot items tonight (received today); spent hours already on photos and checking for dings, etc. Who knows if I'll be in the mood tomorrow ?
I looked a minute ago and my views, such as they are and as believable as they are(n't), are back to numbers. For almost 2 days I had - , meaning a dash for zero zippity no views, even on items with watchers.
What I noticed today is the whole site is loading pages even slower than normal. It's not my computer, my browser(s), my cookies or my strawberry shortcake - it's ebay. I do not have that issue with any other site except occasionally Tory Burch.
And it's a no for the sushi. And just shoot me before making me eat sashimi. Don't let my husband get started on his blue fin tuna in Japan story, eaten (gulped/gagged down) in a restaurant favored by the local businessmen he could not afford to offend by saying no thank you.
