Extended autopay functon.... help

I never signed on to giving buyers an additional week to pay...  When My auctions end I want to be paid and ship within 4 days of auction ending.  I dont' have an additional week to give buyers.  I sell only via auction and I am only home 2 weeks a month, so I need to sell, get paid, and I ship same day as paid.  I don't want this service and I will have to either "fail to ship" or have to "cancel auctions" if this continues.   There is nothing the buyer can buy from me after the auctions end... I don't sell day to day... I can't .     I was told.....

You can disable Autopay in your Account Settings if you wish to avoid this in the future.

I CAN'T FIND WHERE TO DISABLE THIS FUNCTION. I DON'T WANT IT, CAN'T USE IT, AND IT WILL FORCE ME TO QUIT SELLING BECAUSE I CAN'T SHIP IF I'M NOT AT HOME.  I HAVE A TWO WEEK WINDOW TO SELL AND SHIP ON AUCTION SETTING.

Extended autopay functon.... help

I AGREE COMPLETELY !!!!!

This is complete and entirely asinine. Who came up with novel approach ... it wasn't an eBay Seller, that's for sure.  eBay's OWN POLICY is as follows:

Unpaid item policy

Buyers must pay for the items they purchase on eBay within 4 calendar days.

However, some genius decided that they will now give a "potential" Buyer 7 DAYS to pay which completely contradicts their own policy. And guess what, after 7 Days, they don't even have to pay. And guess what, after 4 days the sale CANNOT be cancelled for Non-Payment. Are you serious? This is a pain in the ass. eBay needs to correct this immediately.

And before you say "It's in your Account Setting", I've spent quite a bit of time looking and I've even placed a call (that's right, an actual telephone call) to eBay Customer Service with no solution in sight.

IT'S STUPID, STUPID IDEA !!!!!

How does "un-checking" the boxes help? ebay's own warning is as follows:

If selected, we’ll automatically process payments for auctions when possible. Selling without this rule may lead to unpaid items. This setting does not apply to eBay Live auctions, which always require a payment method to bid.

@ypbigdog  Unchecking those boxes disables the option for the buyer to have 7 days to pay, because it's a test tied to those two buyer requirements.  It's a trade-off you'd have to decide for yourself if you wanted to try.
