Excess listings for one item appearing without input from me

I recently listed a few books on ebay after a long hiatus and doing only Amazon.  It is just not like the old half.com now and seems hard to control.  Excess listings for one item are appearing and I am having trouble deleting them.  I would rather do fixed price, but I think I have to have more than one copy to do that.  Any suggestions welcome!

To end a listing, go to your active listings and click End in the menu next to the item.

You can use fixed price on any amount, you don't need more then one to use it.
