Error while listing in ebay

Hello there, I am new to ebay and while listing my products, I keep getting this error message 

"To maintain a safe trading environment, eBay places limits on the number of categories sellers can list in. Currently, you do not have required permission to sell in this category. {e208691-1246172x}". 

Please help me to resolve this problem.

We do not have access to your account.  Please tell us exactly what you are trying to list and in what category.

eBay does put certain restrictions and limits on new and other accounts but without knowing what you trying to do we are clueless.

Have you signed up for Managed Payments and been approved to start listing?

Have you submitted everything required by eBay to sell?

If so has eBay notified you that you can start listing? 

You cannot just create an account and try and list many items for sale, eBay puts limits on new sellers

New sellers are restricted in the number and /or value of the items they can list.

This is both a Seller and a BuyerProtection, because newbies make mistakes.

EBay usually tells you what those numbers are.

So, for example you may have a restriction to 100 items or $100.

You could list one $100 item or you could list 100 items at $1.00.

You can request that these numbers be increased every 30 days.

More generally, " eBay places limits on the number of categories sellers can list in."  may mean that eBay is finally restricting dropshipping, the lazy way to sell online, and also one of the least successful.

Since you are in India, there may be even more restrictions.

I would suggest choosing items to sell that you have in your hands and will be shipping yourself.

I am not sure if Managed Payments is available in India.

More to the point , you should be registering on the India site and setting up your payment processor there. Any registered seller on any site can sell on dotCOM.
I am in Canada and sell on both dotCA and dotCOM.

IN addition, when you are paid, your customers' payments will be Held for 30 days until eBay is assured of customer satisfaction.

Use Air Mail shipping which may help with the release of the Held funds.

Managed Payments defaults to transferring payments every Tuesday to your Indian chequing account.

India used to use PaisaPay and many Asian sellers use Payoneer and a few still use Paypal.

     You are in India and your account has only been active since 1/30/2024. If as others mentioned you have everything setup to list your items and for eBay to handle the financial transactions eBay puts limits on new sellers both for the number of items you can list, the value of the items and the categories. 

     What are you trying to list, what is the item, what is the price and what is the category?

New sellers have selling limits imposed on their selling account 

Those limits are the number of items you can sell and the price of the items.

You will also have limits on the categories you can list in.
