Entirely different traffic from two days ago: Traffic Report Totally Wrong

This is my second post about this, so please excuse my spam if you saw my post yesterday. 

Okay. So yesterday I noticed this: On my Ebay seller page, which comes with my Ebay store subscription, the traffic graph was entirely different than it had been for the month, the 6 month and the year. All and every day on every data point had been edited down so that on a day when 67 Page Views were depicted previously,  the Ebay Traffic Page ( included, I assume, with the store) suddenly said I had 16 page views. 

This means that the Ebay store I have had for the past 3 years is now showing that over time that I've got something like an average of 3 views a day; which is not the information I had been getting for the past three years. I don't know what other people's traffic is like. I assume mine is typically pretty low; meaning 35-60 views reported per day on my small store. 

So. I talked to customer service last night. That CSR talked to me for half an hour before I realized he was not looking at the same page I was looking at, and had no idea what I was talking about no matter how I tried to explain it. Then I talked to a CSR by phone this morning: she said that there must be more competition on the site than previously. I said okay, sure, but that doesn't explain why my Page Views ( and Impressions) are suddenly much lower than *they had been reported in the past*. In other words, the Page View Count reflected last Monday in the graph was now a *different number* for the same day, last Monday. 

She disconnected me. I then attempted to get back on the phone, tried twice, EBAY automated service communicated it was calling me but I was not answering or had the wrong number associated with my account, which could not be true since * I had just talked to a CSR for an hour using that number* -- okay, didn't matter. 

Finally, CSR via chat, says; we have reports on your issue and are working to resolve it. 

I don't even know if they are aware of what the issue is. I am very confused. Has my traffic report been wrong for the past three years? Have I been paying 25 dollars a month for the past three years for traffic that did not exist? 

Is somebody else out there with this issue; any insights or updates?

Still having the same issue. I have not yet contacted a CSR about the issue but will tomorrow if not resolved by the morning. 

Same issues you're having. My impressions, page views, and subsequent data is messed up. Most of my items show zero views, etc. It's totally wacked out my conversion and click through rates...

My concern is that this is effecting Cassini since the AI governs traffic and sales.

Made a post about traffic issues not too long ago as well, this is what I've noticed for me in the past: listing views/impressions are completely different from each other in the "Active Listings" vs "Traffic Reports" section in the Seller Hub. First noticed a few months back, makes me wonder if the stats eBay displays are even real to begin with.

Figured I'd add on - Regardless of this being a new-ish account, when I made this one I on average was making 1-3 sales a week (which is fine considering new account + low inventory), but since end of May/beginning of June (around the time I noticed the traffic discrepancies) all sales dropped off, and as of tomorrow it will have been one month since I have made any sales whatsoever. I've cut my prices by as much as I can on a lot of the items (making 1-2% net profit on some, prices in screenshots are not current), tried SEO best practices, free shipping, ect. to no avail. Wondering if the two are related at all? 🤔

Finally called in, today, and reported the problem. The rep could clearly see something was amiss. He filed a very detailed IT ticket and we're waiting to hear something back. Will report back as soon as I do.

Thanks to all replies on this. 

As gottasellemall69 noted: " It makes you wonder if the stats reports are real to begin with." If I any one of the four CSR conversations communicated: Oh, yeah, that's totally wrong, we'll get right on it" I would have felt much better about this. As it is I'm thinking...is any of this right? All the studying and traffic monitoring and sourcing and the stats they were giving me all along were totally wrong? 

Then the next thought is: "why have I been paying for an account every month for two years if its function is to give me fake information?"

Just want to make a quick note GSME69 that *sometimes* I've had a little bump in sales from refreshing my whole store. Also from refreshing just a couple things over a few days. I don't know why it's worked but I think Cassini is always searching for something new and will treat you differently based on how it reads your newest entries. Not much of a clue beyond that, though, lol. 

Anyway, this has to be some sort of messup inside the tinkering division that will straighten out. My store is on vacay for a week in the hopes the tinkering division will at some point get around to making my account make sense. 

Thanks new_spin_boutique for finally getting a report in. I had no such luck, the CSRs I talked to for the most part had no idea what I was saying.

Lol! Mine came back too. I wasn't even going to check for a couple days but I did, and it was just switched back with no explanation.
