Ended Items Going To Unsold Causing Inventory Problems

Anonymous
Not applicable

I couldn't figure out why my inventory was off recently.

When I have an item that is no longer in stock, I end the item.  Recently I discovered that it was going to

my Ended Items page, but it was also going to my Unsold Items page.  At the end of the day, other'

unsold items were added to the Unsold Items page, hiding the one that was out of stock in the middle of

30 or 40 other items.

I was in the habit of relisting all of the Unsold Items.  Unbeknowst to me, I was relisting the item I no longer had

in stock and had ended.

I called Ebay and had them write a Tech Ticket.  I use a Mac.

Now, as soon as I end an item no longer in stock, I immediately go to the Unsold page and delete it there

as well.

Hope this helps someone!  It caused me alot of grief!

That has been happening for years and Ebay denies it and will do nothing if you sell it twice other than tell  you  to make sure every listing is accurate as well as in your inventory

If they were still active when you had no stock you must have been using the Out of Stock option. My question is why then would you END them. Why bother using the OOS option in the first place?

Of course when you end a listing it goes to unsold. Where else would you expect it to go?
Reality is the leading cause of stress.
