Good Morning.
I just got notified by ebay that my label is ready to print, the buyer paid ship now.
However I never got notified there had been a sale.
I went to my Ebay account and yes they are processing funds for a sale.
Is this a new thing? Jumble everything into 1 email? Or is something amiss?
I have been selling on ebay for many years and have never had this happen.
Thanks

These is a random glitch where for some members email alerts are late or never show up. After a while it all works fine. It doesn't happen often now, but ebay never really fixed the issue completely.

Never rely on email from anyone for anything. Emails can be delayed minutes, hours, days, months...or never come at all. Email doesn't work point to point. There are many, many different things between inboxes and if there's a delay or failure in any one of those points the email will be delayed or never arrive at all.

It is not just you. For months now, all we get is the create the label "your effort paid off" combined email.
We never get the "your item sold" like we used to.
I, like you, thought this was the new hybrid approach to sales notifications.
I hate the "your efforts paid off".......could be worded so much better.

For fixed price/immediate payment listings under Managed Payments, I think those email ARE the sale notification.
The email contentl is virtually identical to the sales notification emails. The only differencves are that the title has changed and there is one additional sentence about the QR code option.
I can't comment about auctions or non-managed payments.
