Has anyone yet found a way to opt out of the time-wasting "Add Item Specifics" on your listings? They can't be serious, please tell me there is a way out.

Oh, but they are. I wrote down Germany for where an item was from after Western Germany was rejected. The site wouldn't take Germany unless I let the site put it on the listing.
Someone clearly mislabled their buttons because this is beyond stupid.

Another time wasting "improvement". Tell me it ain't so. As it isn't already redundant to put the word in the title and description. Lol.

I really like the requirement when listing a mens clothing item with "mens" in the title and in the mens listing category to further list it under department "mens".

When you edit them you have to check the box that says semething like "don't remind me again."

Hello - ONE WOULD THINK that ebay would have an employee reading posts and stepping in to answer these type of questions, FIRST LET ME SAY that I didnt even know there was a discussion forum here on ebay until yesterday, and I posted a couple of statements on the new "Nightmare Hub" - and for the first time looked at some statements and responses. WHAT I BELIEVE IS TRUE is that ebay does have employee people replying to posts here, FOR EXAMPLE - I saw one yesterday that was a response to the new format that basically stated it was terrible, AND the response was, "I dont work for ebay BUT I have been using this new hub and I think its great" something of this nature, and I noticed a few more postings like this. ANYWAY I thought I would mention this and the point is ebay could help you with your problem, but apparently there isn't much concern for the MANY posts that state its not working for many folks here.
WITH ALL THIS SAID, here is how I fixed the problem you are asking about, If you go to the area that shows your listings, there will be the word "customize" and if you hit that it will take you to a page that shows all the categories with boxes and check marks. What you have to do is uncheck the areas that you dont want shown. Try this and see if this is any help to you. Oh, and I AM NOT an employee of ebay, and I would like to thank the good folks at ebay for helping so much with this nightmare they have made for us. NOW I expect there will be responses from the trolls stating how great it all is. ANYWAY, I hope this helps.
