Ebay unfair to sellers

I sold a laptop 2 weeks ago to a buyer/seller on ebay for $240. It is an envy touchsmart 15 laptop 2016. I've had a shipping policy to ship it out for 10 days but seems the buyer was unaware of this so asked me to ship it out  so I used 2 day priorty mail since he/ she wanted it by early the following week. Short story, after some time the buyer received the item but it wasn't until today that I received a message that the item had the problems that I have described. I had mentioned that the item is used, but fully functional and that it had some issues with the plastic bottom being broken and that it is sold as is as clear as possible with pictures. The buyer has already taken apart the laptop. The buyer is also a seller that fixes and sells laptops and sells them, however he/she has feedback as selling non-working no described laptops. I believe the buyer did not read my entire listing description and is using the same logic as his/her feedbackers to return the item. I am unhappy with ebay's decision to accept the return as I may receive a non-working laptop. If that's the case, I will no longer be associated with ebay.

You listed as "Used" which means this.....

Used: An item that has been used previously. The item may have some signs of cosmetic wear, but is fully operational and functions as intended. This item may be a floor model or store return that has been used. See the seller’s listing for full details and description of any imperfections.

Then in your description you mention multiple defects none of which are minor and include pictures that are very poor quality and do not clearly show the physical damage.

Your listing also offers 14 day returns so the buyer is within their rights to return it for ANY reason.

If it had been listed correctly as "for parts only" with "no returns" eBay might have stood behind you.

Yeah, but if the buyer took it apart the item no longer qualifies for the MBG, whether it was described properly or not.

Getting a CSR to follow ebay policy is another thing.

And that is why it is not a good idea to sell damaged goods, even when disclosed.

Buyers initially love the low price but that soon changes when they receive the damaged item.
