Ebay store questions

I was looking into purchasing an ebay store, but have a few questions. It says "Free fixed price insertions" - "100/mo," and "Free auctions in collectables and fashions" - "100/mo." What exactly are these two things and what do they mean? Also things like additional fixed price insertion. Basically im looking for any hidden fees that are not included with the monthly fee so i know exactly how much im paying for the store. Thanks!

Ebay store questions

Sellers who have a Starter store get a total of 100 free basic insertions per month, which can be used for either fixed price or auction format listings just as non-stores get 50 that can be divided however they choose.

Like other Stores, the Basic store free auction-format insertions can only be used in 13 specific "fashion" and "collectibles" categories.

If you use up your 100 insertions, or if you list an auction-format listing in one of the not-eligible categories, then you'll be charged an insertion fee of 30 cents.  If you pay for an auction-format insertion and it sells, you get a credit for the 30-cent insertion fee.

As noted in the other post, as a new seller you probably have listing limits that would make a store not cost-effective.  A Store subscription has no effect on your listing limits.  Those can only be increased by demonstrating to eBay that you understand how to be a good seller.
