Ebay's injustice decision! What to do next, help?

I sold a pair of boots to a Russian buyer on Ebay with all photos in the description perfectly posted and for some reason* the buyer wanted to return them back. The excuses he found was unbelievable. I'm a boot collector and these boots had minimal wear on them. Anyhow after Ebay got in the case he ask me to refund the seller and ask him to ship them back, which I did. Full refund (boots+shipment---$200+45). Also I had to pay the shipment from Russia to Greece which I found with Russian Post that was around $40-45. The seller for some reason* he wanted to return them ONLY with DHL Express with a shipment of 195 euros(!!!!), which is nuts. I told him that his money will be transferred to his PayPal and also the return fees of the $45 to ship them back to me and that the DHL charges was too expensive. He denied without any reason and told me that he will only return them to me with this way. I contacted with Ebay several times, getting this automated answers which I don't want to characterise now. Today Ebay sent me an email telling that the case closed in buyers favour which I already knew because I agreed to return the money. Can someone tell me why is the buyers judge on how to ship the item back to me? Why decides what to do with my item? And at the end keeping the boots for free! I told him to send it with Russian Post and I will send him the money to pay it. What on earth should I do now? Is there any justice at all? How Ebay is fair doing this kind of decisions? They should tell the buyer that its the seller responsibility to tell you how he wants his item back, once you got your refund and also get paid for returning the item. It's not your choice any more. It's not your boots anymore.

If the buyer wanted to drive it all the way to Greece to return them back to me by car and asked me 1000 euros for gas, what would be the difference? I had to pay him that kind of money? With Ebay's judgement I should.

*The buyer is a few months on Ebay and the answers he gave me where very sneaky. I'm pretty sure that these was his intentions all along. To keep the boots for free.

I tried to file an appeal following these steps but there is no case that I could do that.

  1. Go to your Seller Dashboard.
  2. Expand Closed without seller resolution to see your options.
  3. Select See cases and find the item in the list.
  4. Select See details and then send us an appeal.

Can someone tell me what to do now?
