This month I have until now 0 sales the last month only one. This is a disaster !!.
What is going to do Ebay in order to stop a collective crash and in consequence the similar destiny for the Company in general?. WITHOUT SELLERS EBAY WILL BE OUT !!

Hi
In our shop we sell new Lego and Playmobil parts. 80% of sales within the UK with the rest going all over the world. We always have about 1,500 Buy it Now items listed with free postage, free returns and all the other things eBay encourages.
The number of sales is about 5% down compared to 2017 which is a bit disapointing. Personally I put that down to general economic uncertainty in the UK from BREXIT. I think some people are simply buying less until the future is sorted.
So given our sales figures I can't see an eBay wide collapse in sales. Unless there is a particular problem with the category you sell in I don't think any of Ebay's recent changes have caused us a significant issue.

I think ebay is on Christmas break. I've not received many notifications from ebay lately. There's diffentely not much activity on ebay the last week.

Maybe you are misreading this. Maybe ebay wants to sell and keep all the profits.

I'm not sure if this will be helpful or not or how I ended up here but....im a buyer. When I'm looking for something I use both the eBay app and shopping on Google. When I use the app it will give me the most expensive of the items. When I turn right around and use shopping tab in Google for the exact same thing the eBay listings there are much more plentiful and reasonable. Example in case you want to see what I'm talking about. I searched for fred the reindeer from the grinch movie. The best one in the app was for 24.00 plus shipping to 50-60 dollars. I went to Google found the same item (in eBay) for 18 dollars free shipping plus a ton of listings that did not show in the app. When you click on the item in Google it takes you to eBay of course but it also gives way more "see similar listings" than the app does. Good luck to all of you sellers!!

For me the drastic drop happened several years ago when ebay changed policy and disallowed embroidery designs to be sent via email. They changed to policy to require you use a classified ad in: Everything Else, Information Products. I complied with this for several years with the $10/month fee for my classified ad. NO ONE could find them, I never sold one design set from there. So I went from $100/day to just over $100/month if I am lucky. Now I note that you can list e-books to send by email in the books category, or gift cards for email delivery in a gift card category? Why not embroidery designs in the appropriate craft category? I also note that there is a multitude of pirates selling hundreds or thousands of embroidery designs cheaply, in copyright violation, some of them licensed Disney and so forth-and reporting them does not get them removed. Ebay is making lots of money from their sales. For one who tries to go by the rules, it leaves me a little resentful. I will have to downgrade my store from premium after this month-I cannot justify paying the $79 monthly store fee with my sales below $200.

They are esentially picking and choosing what gets seen through their AI algorithm. If your sales have been impacted as much as mine has, I'm sorry. We do not know what to do and this is our livlihood. To read the article, which enrages me, look it up by date because if it does not show up when you click on it.
