So in the last month or so, I've been averaging almost 1 buyer cancellation for an item every 2 days. That's just crazy that it's significantly on the rise for me. And so many others end up buying, paying, and messaging for me to change orders to stuff I don't even carry. Buyer's just have too much encouragement to not pay attention to listing titles and back out nowadays.
Rant over.

think ebay has "reconstructed" it few times, remember last year they did quarterly update and gave sellers more lead way then following quarterly update reversed it all.
Yea but that’s just amending the time windows back and forth, that’s not really changing policies and steps though right? The processes still ended up being the same, we were just allowed more or less time. Unless I’m confused and thinking about something else.
I mean restructuring by doing away with the entire cancellation and returns system and starting over from scratch building from the ground up.

The cancellations are a ridiculous. The bordem buyers need to go somewhere else, or eBay can send them some surprises for their entertainment. Sitting on a couple grand of canceled orders the last 30 days. Lots of new people to block I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I wonder if cancellations are more common with those buying on a smartphone versus a traditional computer? Maybe the phone makes it easier for impulse buying from a psychological standpoint?

Maybe, but it doesn't help that ebay shoves the same item but cheaper in the buyer's face as soon as they pay for it.
Yes I think this is one of the huge factors in ebay supporting this cancel culture.
