Appearntly I autopaid an Item that I didn't want by mistake and canceled 5 minutes after the fact and instantly started a return and messaged the seller who never responded and ebay rejected it 3 days later and closed the case. After multiple attempts of reaching out to them they did nothing and when the envelope arrive there was nothing in it! Told ebay about it and they still did nothing! Pure **bleep** customer service and leadership. I don't care what they believe I signed I didn't set up the account so I didn't agree to anything arbitrary wise. I'm getting a lawyer and I will sue them.

I don't need to know what anyone was discussing, the first sentence of OP told me it was going to be a rant followed by sarcastic and nonsensical replies. I simply agree with the title. Best title on the forum in my opinion.

eBay IS Scum! And not just any garden variety scum, more like the kind that floats around the edges of stagnant containment ponds and hosts naegleria fowleri. If only the entire eBay C-suite would take a swim in such a pond.
And, yet, you continue to sell and buy on eBay. Now, that I find curious because I would never do business with any person or any entity I considered to be "scum." But to each his own.

I use eBay as the tool it is, it becomes less effective with every change made to it. A lot of my inventory is never listed here.
As for buying here, it isn't very often and most of the time I regret it. Buying here is not my 1st choice and is close to not being a choice at all. Some examples in the past 30 days:
1) A car with no driver in it rolled past mine and broke the mirror. I purchased a new mirror on eBay. Mirror arrived quickly - in a box that didn't fit with the pointy corner sticking through the cardboard and damaged. Contacted seller who suggested "once it is installed, you will hardly notice" and offered $25 off. I said I will notice every time. Seller then offered $50 off. After further explanation that this mirror is for a Mercedes and not a 1986 Yugo, the seller agreed to take it back. I purchased another one from the same seller and asked to send it in a proper size box. I quickly received it in the same type of too small box, undamaged this time, but with a glass mirror that is not the same. Tired of dealing with this seller, I transferred the guts of my broken mirror to the housing of the new mirror - my glass was unbroken, just the housing. I should have received the correct mirror in the right size box the first time.
2) I purchased 4 server parts on Sunday. Two are here, the other two still say "SHIPPING LBL CREATED USPS AWAITS ITEM".
I can complain about selling on eBay for a million different reasons while continuing to sell here, but if anything is ever going to kill eBay it will be this: SHIPPING LBL CREATED USPS AWAITS ITEM
So I agree, eBay is scum.

That has nothing to do with eBay. A seller not getting a drop-off/pickup scan from the USPS (or not delivering it to them in a timely manner) is their fault, not eBay's.

If they paid you, Ebay kept the 30 cents. They never give back the 30 cents.

I agree, a lot of scum running Feebay.

Actually, I thought of this when I got a cancellation today and checked, and sure enough they refunded the 30 cents as well. I was quite surprised!

I agree, well said.

You can get a bad seller on this site or any other similar site. You made the decision to give that seller another chance, Ebay didn't force you. You could have gotten a full refund on the first purchase, instead you decided to continue to work with the seller. That isn't on Ebay, that was a decision you made.
Your second story sounds like you need to contact your seller and find out what is going on.
You know as a seller that there are stats that Ebay keeps on each of us. And there are ramifications behind following below the numbers Ebay expects of us. Any seller that is consistently shipping late will be dealt with by Ebay.
If this is all you are basing this harsh decision on, it is sad since you made the decisions to keep using the 1st seller and act as if Ebay is somehow at fault. We are all responsible for our own actions or inactions.
