Ebay glitch - charging "automatic free relistings" against PROMOTIONAL free listings ALERT11689

There is an ongoing issue in which suppposed-to-be-free automatic relistings of auctions are being charged against regular monthly free listings and promotional extra free listings. (I actually "used" about 160 of my 400 promo listings, then suddenly had zero left.)

Three email exchanges with helpline, anonymous "helper" was absolutely zero help. Did not seem to get it. (Kept insisting that I had used up all the promos, there is no problem.)

So I started a new help request, much less detail, and this time a different anonymous helper admitted it was a system-wide problem and they would try to resolve it.  I have NOT seen the "alert" I mentioned but first "helper" mentioned it in passing, suggested I might quote it if I made further contact. Evidently it rang a bell with new guy, although he was not optimistic sounding about quick resolution. BROTHER!

I don't know what promotion you've received, but doesn't any listing (even a relist) count against your free allotment?

I am having the same problem. Prior to April when I checked the "relist up to 8 times for free" box, the relistings never counted against my monthly allotment or promotional. This month every free list is deducting from my promotion.

To answer above: if you select the free relist when listing it hasn't couldn't until this issue arose in April. I had the feature for a year. I sold a bunch and the feature vanished. Just last month it reappeared for me. Makes me think it isn't an option for all sellers.
