The first time I chatted with eBay, I remember reading a notice that said they were going to email me a transcript of the entire chat. They did.
I chatted with eBay a second time yesterday and there was important info in that chat that I need to pull up. But I don’t see an email from eBay for the transcript of that chat. Ebay sends the transcript 100% of the time, right?

I've always received transcripts of my chats through e-mail.

I have always received email transcripts of chats, too. Maybe you can start a new chat to ask for a transcript of the previous chat 🙃

yeah they send a copy to your ebay inbox and your normal email on file on your account

this happened to me also. The 1st chat, a serious one, I received the chat email. I will say I made a point to ask for it.
I then had, I believe two other chats, I did not receive emails. I will say I did not ask for them. They were quick chats. I can also say they did resolve my problem.

I forgot how long it took for the transcript to be emailed for my first chat. Is it always almost instantaneous for you guys and your emails? Or did it take a day or two?

Usually within a few minutes of the end of the session.

Recently, I had 3 chats with Ebay and NO copies was sent to my registered email. I, too, need those transcripts. I see the transcript number in my Ebay messages but nothing in my email.

Without a transcript how could you defend yourself? They not always email it to you, in my case the most important.

Did not receive an email with the details of any of my recent chats with them on re-setting my store, etc.
I did receive (but only 1 time not after each call) and email asking me to rate my experience from csfeeback @ go.ebay.com
You're right though - usually as soon as the call ended you would get a call recap via email. My issue was not serious or urgent - but it would have been nice to have something to show me "who" I talked to.

About six weeks ago eBay suspended my account for reasons that are still not clear to me. I have spent the entirety of my days for the past six weeks trying to get some clarity as they are holding over $6000 of my money which in due time did put me out of business and got me evicted from my home. I have reference numbers on every phone call after about the 20th call call yet eBay refuses to acknowledge any of these calls nor will they grant access to anybody but themselves. I am currently looking into a class action lawsuit and spending my own money for a lawyer which will most certainly be met Buy an entire team of eBays best lawyers. I don’t have a chance and they know it but they have ruined me and I can’t just take it laying down. This is a case of a massive corporate bully crushing a small business man’s dream as if it were a cockroach on the sidewalk, and it honestly seems like they’re enjoying it . If anyone can offer any help in this matter I beg of you reach out to me, I am a man whose dreams have been crushed, relationships destroyed and have six days until I’m homeless. Once that happens all I can think to do is what everyone thinks I’m going to do. I can only pray that some help will find me in time, thank you and God bless🙏
