Ebay app stinks for both image and barcode search results... at least for me

I swear the app used to be decent for image search but lately it might return a couple matches but mostly stuff that looks nothing like what I image searched. Also with the past few days, the barcode scanner is returning ZERO results or maybe just one result. This all seems to be with active listings. When I do an image or barcode search for active  I am getting these terrible results, but then when I click on complete immediately after getting those bad results, I get a typical amount of results. Anyone experiencing this?

eBay image search in the app never works right for me.

I end up typing in a description.

I've not even tried the image search because it's so horrible in other apps I didn't expect anything out of eBay's.  The barcode search has always worked well for me though, I'm hoping they add it to Product Research soon!

There are issues with image searches.

I have no issues with bar code searches.

Your phone's camera may be contributing to your problems.

Inexpensive phones may not offer adequate resolution to scan certain sizes of bar code.
