What is the current "linkage" between ebay and paypal. I know they are separate compaines but there still appears to be some partnership. Does ebay have access to affect my paypal account? It seems when I have an issue with an ebay transaction...my paypal payments are delayed. Each time the ebay issue has been resolved within hours but the delays on payments..IE being held up..or delays in bank transfers still occurs LONG afterwards. The first time...I thought it was conincidence. The second time happentance...the third time..ENEMY ACTION.

Has anyone else experienced this? When you call paypal to see what the delay has occured..you are told..for security reasons..or the payment is being held for review. You are never given a direct answer. Which leads me to belive they dont want you to know there is a connection. Remember folks..these are businesses. They have one goal and one goal only. To make more bank.

Does ebay have access to affect my paypal account?

Yes. They can freeze funds or return payments to buyers. They can place you in the 21 day hold program.

PayPal will sometimes delay funds that may appear to be suspicious. They tell you not to ship until the money is confirmed to exist.

Ebay and paypal have and will always have those ties since paypal is so widely used by ebay sellers and buyers. They may be separate companies but they have departments to speak directly with each other.

Both of them are still depending to each other.

I think sellers are responsible for delivering items to my hands not post office. Did I buy items for the post office. I know many items are at the post for more than a month and I am sure I will not have them. In many cases they keep them. It seems that it was wrong when I bought at Ebay. I began buying more than two months ago and paid about AED4,500 not received any item. So I really regret it. I shopped at regular stores which was faster and easier. Please refund my money.

It seems that it was wrong when I bought at Ebay. I began buying more than two months ago and paid about AED4,500 not received any item. So I really regret it. I shopped at regular stores which was faster and easier. Please refund my money.

I can't say the hold on funds when there is a return is bothersome. The money has to be paid back anyway. Since I take all returns I accept this. Other than that, I can't say I have had any issue with PayPal. They have always been quick to answer questions and provide solutions.

Like any business, though, they will have problems from time to time. Last December, twice had a withdrawal to my bank not go through. It was fixed and everything is fine now.

As for cost of having them as my payment source. It's just a price of business.
