Ebay Restriction for 3 days??

So I have had a item on my store for 5 months, It was a uv light that kills viruses, I had it listed for $1.99 and today ebay sent me a message saying they removed the item and my account is restricted for 3 days because the item was recalled, I had no idea it was recalled, when I list items I do sell similar, there are so many of the same exact item listed right now, Does anyone know how I can get my ebay account unrestricted? I called and they did appeal for me but said it could take 72 hours for a answer, I told them I would not risk my account being restricted for a $1.99 item, I honestly had no clue it was a recalled item because there are a bunch still on ebay currently and It has been on my store for literally 5 months, Does anyone have any advice? PLease and thank you!

This is always very frustrating.  Forget the Ebay customer service by chat or phone - go directly to the Ebay for Business Facebook page and politely post your issue there.

I'm guessing that if your item really was recalled, you wont be able to list it again, but the people at the FB page are polite and helpful, they may take the restriction off of your account.

If you were selling an item that had been recalled, probably not much they'll do about the restriction.

Sellers are responsible for their listings and they need to know if the item can be sold or not.

Thank you, I honestly do not care about the item being re listed, It was only for $1.99 it was a item I listed when I first got into this full time and did not know much about Ebay, I left it on to maybe just get the sell and feedback, I have not heard anything back from them but they must of accepted my appeal because it is back on and selling items. I appreciate your response and the info on the ebay facebook page, I did not even know about that, Thank you very much!

if you are talking about the Ontel portable uv light, I couldn't find a recall at the site I belong to on it. 

even found a link for them still for sale and it took me to amazon and my discount buddy offer to take so much off instead of warning me about a recall on it.

I did find that they did voluntarly pulled their tv ad off the air because they cannot prove it actually works to kill covid -19 and I saw there is a class action lawsuit too but no recall i can come up with . 

Only uv light on my recall list is the spirit halloween one.

Yes it was the Uv light that kills covid, It is so frustrating, I thought they accepted my appeal because Items were still selling, But I went to list my daily items and it will not let me, If you look on Ebay now there are a lot listed currently, It makes no sense at all! Thank you for the information!
