EBay ending random listings for no reason

During the last month, random buy it now listings have been ending by themselves. None of these listings violated eBay policies, in fact most have been listed and relisted with no problems. Now, with increasing frequency, listings just show up as ended. I didn't end them and eBay didn't end them for cause.  It usually happens within a few hours to a few days after they are listed.  I'm having to check a couple times a day to catch this.

I have had random listings drop or not renew for YEARS.  Never a listing violation in USA.  Had 1 cake knife removed from Great Britain.

That one "random" listing that was taken down for "no reason" just happened to be a knife?

Even though the item itself may not have been in violation, the ebay bot may have somehow, perhaps mistakenly, found it to be in violation. 

I'm just saying I don't think these listings are being ended randomly. There's usually a reason, even if that reason is wrong.
