It all stared 12/06/18 on, These were all handled by Oversea Call Centers...
I had a question about "Not as Described Return". The Return automatic approved for Return. Months before I had turned off automatic returns for my account. So I called and asked what was up. The CS rep said I had 3 business day to come to an understanding with the Buyer. and the Buyer had 5 business day to return the item. Then once I got the item back I had 2 business day to escalate the return and I could not appeal until I got the item back and the escalation was done. That is fine.
So an few hours later same day. I got an Email from Ebay saying I had lost the escalation . Now funds are automaticly deducted from my account, return closed.
How can I lose an escalation, if never ask for one in the first place. I was told you can't escalate the return until I get the item back? The only thing left was to appeal once I got the Item back
Update
I won the appeal and got shipping credit and becase the item was used I got a small credit for the use of the item also. Wow
I Looked at my account a few days later and I noticed I had never got credited for the Final fees for the return.
So once again I called Ebay CS of course I got an E bay Overseas Call Center. Long story short, I was told we can't cretit you for just your Final fees for the return. What we can do is credit you Final fees for the return and shippping. I said, I have already been credited for shippping... 3 times I told them and all I want is my Final fees for the return. I Finaly gave up and said fine... What a mess for just trying to do the right thing.... Of course I was talking to an E bay Overseas Call Center again. Sorry to see Ebay in such a mess since spring update, thats when it started to go down hill for me...

The people that we speak to in the phillipines are just poorly trained. I have called several times and most of the customer service reps speak very poor english. This has been a rough year for all of us selling on Ebay. The number of poor changes was staggering. Not being able to have a sale for 14 days was an absolute disaster, Free Returns brought all the scammers out, Losing tons of pictures not to mention the numerous glitches. It is obvious that this CEO Devin Wenig doesn't have a clue about selling. It is a small wonder that the company posted any earnings at all. His days are certainly numbered.

Yes, Devin Wenig and the top leaders at eBay do not seem to understand small business selling ... but I don't think that they are charting a course that is primarily about small business selling. I think eBay's vision is to be a full-service shopping portal ... sort of like Google Shopping with a shopping cart, payment services, and customer service.
Thus, eBay doesn't care if you buy from Bob in Wisconsin, some guy in China, or through an off-site seller. They simply want to have their hands somewhere on the transaction so that they can siphon whatever fees they can.
