Drafts NOT being saved for 20 days???

I thought that listings created and saved as Drafts were retained for 20 days?  After 10 they can NOT be activated and listed ... was the 20 days inaccurate or am I just special and got the latest Drafts glitch from Home Office??

Long story - short. 
I've given up on eBay Drafts. 
I follow all the procedures, poof they're gone, or sometimes only the photos gone. 
Massive waste of my time, massive frustration. 
At first I blamed myself, I must have done something wrong, tried again, nope, tried again, nope. 
Sometimes a page of, like, 6 listing all entered and drafted same day a random 2 would be gone. No, I have never seen a single one reappear.

I now list in another venue and c/p when I get Free Listings. 
Other venue, which shall not be named, has saved listings of mine for over SIX YEARS, photos only 3 months which is acceptable.
