Does creating new campaigns often helps?

It is not addressing campaigns at all. That is not what I am looking for. Thanks though for tutorial on promoted listings.

Why do people create multiple campaigns and how do you decide what listing goes in each one of them? How do you decide that it is time to end it etc? I am not looking for tutorials from Ebay but experiences of sellers.

I believe promoted listings and campaigns are the same thing.

You make 10 listings.     You promote all 10 listings.    You pick a date 12/29/2021 for each of those 10 listings.    You have started a new campaign as of 12/29/2021

I reset several 100 listings recently that had been running 18-24 months and were all promoted.    I read somewhere that these listings get stale after a period of time and should be updated.

So I manually ended all these listings and restarted them using "Sell similar"   with a new promotion date.

My experience after doing this with about 1500 listings was that it was a waste of a huge amount of my time.

How long should a campaign run for? I created one 2 years ago. Is it better to leave listings there or end it and move it to new campaign? Also if I have 100 listings should I split them in couple campaigns or keep it in one?

Full disclosure?     I have no idea.     My campaigns start when a listing is made.    If I make new listings every day for 30 days then I've started 30 campaigns.     As far as I know a campaign runs until you stop it.    As I noted above,   I

ended a quanity of listings and restarted them with new campaigns.    I saw no benefits and it did not increase my  views or sales.

I've read that some seller are under the impression that eBay will stop/end a listing if it's old enough and has no sales.    I've never experienced that.

This is my experience.    I have never spent much time thinking about this particular subject.   Some sellers

on these boards think promotions are a waste of and unnecessary.

Thank you for sharing. I only sell when I advertise high. It used to be different before October.
