Does anyone know of a shortcut for converting the items in a multiple item listing to single items?

It would be nice to avoid recreating single item listings from scratch, saving the description, photos, etc.

I don't know if this is the quickest way but you could do the following.....

Go to said item and click Sell Similar. It will prompt you to ask if you want to keep the photos. Click Yes.. 

You can either edit the details and remove pictures or save as a draft. Just make sure you do not submit it as a duplicate listing.

I appreciate the response.  I am at least the 4th person to submit this issue and you are the only response to any of them.

I tried to edit, and the "sell similar" approach, but changes are only within variations, i.e. removing all but one variations does not get rid of the variation part of the listing.

I thought you were able to change the category and it would reset your details. Not sure but i have done that with sell similar before but not with any that were a multiple listing. Sorry it did not work and if you do find a work around, i would love to know about it.
