I have an issue that needs to be resolved and i cannot locate a working customer support phone number to get an actual person on the phone to help.
If anyone has one, please send along.

eBay doesn't have a public phone # to call.
Any phone #s you may find on the internet/google are fraudulent & operated by scammers & criminals.
If you want to reach eBay CS, follow the instructions below all the way to the end to Chat live with an agent, or have an agent call you back.
Pick a topic "close enough" to your issue so that you reach the right team.
Tip - when the chatbox opens, type in "Agent" then press "Send" to bypass the bots:

Note: The Call Back option doesn't always work if your carrier blocks spam/telemarketing calls.
With the Chat option eBay will automatically email you a transcript.

On the eBay homepage (bottom) Help and Contact -> Contact Us
Pick an appropriate reason and there will be option for chat, then in chat request call back

Is this about the same issue you wrote about a few days ago? Other posters mentioned a few different ways of contacting customer service in that thread as you can’t phone them directly.

yes it is. i did try the chat box but no response will try it again. Apparently when i listed my item EBAY gave me a new seller ID. I cannot acces this and i cannot shut the sale down.
I do not know why this happened.

Hello! Once you get to "Chat with our automated assistant or connect with an agent" The chat bubble pops up, Once there, Click on contact an agent, youll then get an option to either "Chat with an agent" or "Have us call you" It should then ask you for your number as long as you do this eBay will call you back!

eBay would only give you another ID if you went through the process to open another account. Were you trying to provide info to register in order to sell?

No that is the murky part. I opened in MYEBAY and began to develop the listing. when i selected "finished" and got a confirmation i did not notice the seller ID was different.
very frustrating to say the least. EBAY used to have a very helpful , in person CS.
also i did not realize that i can no longer tie this to Paypal. and have to give my bank details to their platform. makes me very nervous to think something goes wrong and then there is no CS to untangle.
