Hi,
In performance metrics on eBay, does an impression count even if the buyer never sees your listing?
In other words, if a buyer searches for something, and your listing appears say on the 3rd page, but the buyer only stays on 1st page, does that count as an impression? Or does your listing have to be on the same page as the buyer is in order to count?
I am having a hard time trying to find an answer to this.
Thank you in advance.

In my world, sales count. Nothing else matters.
I am not familiar with 'impressions' so I will let others guide you about that topic.

Amen....so many people coming on these boards to complain about impressions. They really don't mean squat to me. I'd be more concerned about actual sales and deposits in my account. Like you, to me that's what counts. Happy Selling.

Yes.
BUT more to the point, if your listing is at the bottom of the page and the buyer never makes past the first few listings you get a completely fictitious "impression". The information is thoroughly useless.

@havesistore Yes, the impression counts regardless of what happens from there ... nobody has any way to know if a Buyer actually sees a listing ... if they click on it then the system knows ...
