Does EBAY spam you every day multiple times a day to buy stuff even though you are a seller? This happens to me daily now and I have got to tell you its really annoying to go price an item and then have ebay ask me 2 times or more if I want to buy it when I clearly dont. Especially since I have the exact same item for sale.

Yes I get lots of emails daily from ebay and it doesn’t bother me because I have this amazing button on my computer called Delete that takes care of 100’s of them in seconds

I think it's funny when I relist an item, and lower the price.

Ebay sends me an email that the item I looked at now has a lower price, and I should go buy it.

I totally agree, eBy should stop emailing people who look at an item to let them know that it isnow for sale for less. How dare they.

You must sit in front of your computer and monitor your inbox. I dont have that kind of time I am at work and on a mobile and it dings me all the time its very annoying.

Also you would think EBAY would be able to differentiate between buyers and sellers and maybe spam sellers a little less or not spam them if they want to buy items with the same keyword at items they have listed ---- this technology (boolean search) has existed since the 1990s.

Thats funny Dirk I also get emails to buy my own listings. It certainly doesnt help ebay look competent when this happens.

Jason I wouldnt mind the occassional email but not several a day nagging me to buy every item I looked at. I am a seller you know I look at items to compare prices ---- not always to buy them. In fact most of the time I am not buying. 

When I do ebay emails have never ever influenced me to buy anything ever.

They have influenced me NOT to buy things from ebay though.   In fact sometimes I go to buy things really cool electronics like jailbroken roku type stuff and ebay has shut the seller down.

It's annoying, but I want the eBay Bonus Bucks offers.  I hope all of you are at least gettting those.

It's a bot. The bot has no way to tell if you are a seller, and the bot has no way to tell that you sell the same items. When you do a search the bot knows you are interested in the item. The bot is there to make Ebay money and want a sale.

The bot can look up the user id of the seller and the user id of the recipient and know that they are one in the same - even if they use different ID's for buying and selling.

But that would take a higher level of programming than we see here.
