On the subject of including things with scent, I actually had to file an snad once. I'm VERY sensitive to certain scents, particularly pina colada. I bought a bathing suit, the seller included a sample size tanning oil, and while it was in Ziploc, the suit still reeked to the point of just opening the package triggered a migraine.
I think with scents, soaps, food, it's probably smart to ask the buyer if they mind if you include a small gift
