Do proxy bids show up on the Sold listings when it says 0 bids?

If an auction has zero bids then it wasn’t sold.
So your question makes zero sense.

Do proxy bids show up on the Sold listings when it says 0 bids?

If a Bid was placed and then cancelled it would be in the bid history.  Just click on the Bids

If there were any Bid Cancellations it would show here and would show who and when.

When someone places a proxy bid, they're bidding an amount higher than required so the system will increase their bid as needed when there are future  higher bids that would outbid the original bid.

How can there be a proxy bid when there are no bids?

I'm not sure you have a grasp of the definition of a proxy bid. If someone has placed a bid--proxy or otherwise--it will show up in the bid history.

If someone has placed a bid--whether proxy or not--the auction wouldn't say "0 bids." It would say "1 bid."

There are no bids to show up, it didn't sell.

OK, thanks everyone.  The reason I'm confused is because I'm trying to find out how much things sell for so I can value my item; so I go to the sold listings and it says it sold (otherwise why would it be in the sold listings) and gives a price that it sold for, but the price is pretty high so I want to know if it's for real.  Looking at the bids it says 0 bids, but it does say sold to some bidder, so it's confusing.   Sorry if I'm not making sense.

@p-spring

If you are looking at beanie babies or corningware, the numbers are skewed.

What are you wanting to list?

Was that an auction that had a 'Buy it now" option? If you share the listing number or a link to the listing, we can take a look and help clarify.

OK, so upon further reading, I see that these super high prices are commonly found on Sold listings, and especially Beanie Babies which is what I was trying to value for my items.  The buyers are unregistered users, and the sellers have no previous auctions.   The sold listing of the item does say 1 bid, but when you click on the buyer, it says:  No. of Bids for this item: 0, which doesn't make sense.   Anyway, thanks for the help.

If there was a proxy bid, it wouldn't say 0 bids.
