Hello,
I woke up this morning to a sale, a message, and a cancellation request. A buyer is claiming that their dog bought an item on their phone..... I know Paypal has made some recent changes and I am wondering if I cancel the order as buyer asked will I have the Paypal fees refunded?

For now, yes, all but 30 cents. Next week, next month -- who knows!

Cancel the transaction using the reason: "Per buyer's request" so that you do not get a defect and you get your FVF credited. Bad dog...

Their dog must be really smart - mine can't even figure out the remote to the television.

I know I will not get a defect if I do not cancel and I know if I choose Buyer requested cancellation I will get my Ebay fees back. But will I get my Paypal fees back? In the past yoy use to get your Paypal fees back but recently in these community threads I have been seeing that Paypal will no longer be refunding fees for any reason and I am wondering if this is true? Or if this has gone into effect?

As another poster mentioned, you get all of but .30 back from Paypal. They have either delayed or cancelled the new rule about keeping all of the fees.

Yes, I saw it. But I am looking to see if others had the same .30 cent experience with Paypal or something inwhich they kept more or refunded all.

You will not get the 30 cents back. Isn't that a negligible concern in this context?

I'm still trying to get mine to open the fridge and bring me a cold beer like the dog in that TV commercial.

OP! Don't forget to put that ID on your BBL. Who knows what that dog might try to buy from you next time. It's owner probably wouldn't let them have it either.

"My dogs are all grounded because of their on-line activity!" The most they have ever done are treats -- guess I'm lucky with my 'bakers dozen'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
