I had a problem with a buyer not receiving an item. They asked for a cancellation and a refund. I did both. I have it in my Ebay records. The buyer left me negative feedback claiming I did not respond. I asked the buyer to reconsider and wrote a lengthy request but they refused. So how do I go through Ebay to get the feeback removed as it is not true.

If I bought an item from you and you sent it to someone else, then realized your error and refunded me, I would be made whole. But I still wouldn't call that a positive experience. In fact, it probably would be a negative experience. I don't see why eBay would remove that feedback. You made a mistake and should own it.

Unfortunately I don't think ebay removes feedback for being "untrue".
It has to violate ebay's policy.
99% of sellers who received negative feedback say it's untrue.
It wont hurt asking ebay though.

'out of stock'...that is what it technically is?...no matter the mistake...from the feedback I am reading.
Buyer requested their money back so asked from you to cancel the sale.
A 'revision' can be done by the buyer in 10 days.
Responding to the feedback I would not have done.
The buyer left a negative because buyer paid for it and it wasn't available...
You can try again to email the buyer for a revision if the time hasn't expired.
eBay is not going to do anything even if you have something in "my eBay records".
