i was selling VeVe gems, and the buyer filed a dispute. I sent confirmation that the buyer received the item, i also have proof with the buyer saying " i cancelled his dispute and did not intend on disputing the charge." Regardless i lost the dispute and there is no option to appeal the case. What are my options? Ebay essentially said "That seems like a you problem, as the financial institution closed the claim."

@yousawma22 The problem is that a charge dispute comes from the credit card company and not eBay. The financial institution notifies eBay because that is the platform where the transaction took place, and eBay notifies the seller of a dispute. The decision comes from the financial institution and they will side with their customer every time. So what they said to you was correct.
Now you can pursue this on your own if the amount of the sale is worth it. You have the buyer's info so you can file a small claims case against them, but that will also cost you money to file. I'm sorry there is no option for an appeal, I thought there would be from eBay. I hope this wasn't an expensive item. Best of luck to you....

You are selling intangible, digital items. eBay offers no protection for that time of sale.

Without tracking that shows the item was delivered, there are no other options.
If the digital items were listed correctly, you might have had a chance, but they were not.
