Morning -
I recently sold an item that was delivered digitally via the Upper Deck e-Pack platform. The buyer paid and I traded them the items via e-Pack. Only afterwards did I discover this items triggered the authentication process requiring me to ship these items to the authenticator. My funds are on hold until that step is complete. However, the buyer already has the items and has even messaged me on eBay to thank me for them. Am I out of luck or has anyone had experience getting eBay to bypass this step --- especially when the buyer has acknowledged delivery? Thanks

As I understand it eBay does not allow digital delivery of any products unless previously authorized by eBay to do so, anything other than this is a violation which can result in loss of access to the service as a whole. Others may know better but that's what I was told.

Thanks - there are some excluded categories and stipulations but there are cases where its allowed.. but you're right they might cite policy. Nevertheless happy buyer in this case. I guess I'll connect with their customer service.

"*NOTE* If you have an Upper Deck e-Pack account these coins can be delivered via trade on the platform after purchase. Please send message with your e-Pack Username."
There's a whole lot of wrong with that.

I assume you're correct but can you provide a little more context?

eBay policy very specifically allows digital delivery of of digital trading cards. How else would you conduct that without instructing the buyer on the platform and process?

Digital delivered goods are restricted. You must get special authorization to sell these types of items and most do not. You are selling something that you do not own. Here's a link to read to give you more insight about DDG's:

"eBay policy very specifically allows digital delivery of of digital trading cards"
You are not selling trading cards. You sold precious metal coins.
