Did ebay make changes recently?

Hello  community.  I tried to revise an item on Friday more than once. I never had a problem before but once  I revised it. I could not go back and change it. I could not go back and lower the price again. I got the error messages.

Looks like something is missing or invalid. Please fix any issues and try again. Then the auto decline amount/auto accept amount was underneath. My listing for that was correct but still that error kept coming up. So I called . They said they made this change months ago. They could not bypass it on their end either and said i would have to lower it by 30 percent or something like that for it to  work.  I asked if there were complaints and there were many.   The customer service person said. Also the look of the listing was totally different in the revised item mode as it is not the same in your initial listing. Now the photos of the item are the first thing you see when that was not like that before. Has anyone experienced anything like this before. It seems that they makes changes and they don't tell anyone but never work out the bugs before they implement them. It reminds me of Micro Soft  Vista .

Yes, you are looking at the new and improved listing page.

You should still be able to do anything you need to do that you used to do on the old listing page.

you can change the price via the seller hub active listings page, click the price column for that listing, change it, save, done.

Are you referring to the auto decline for the best offer?  That does not have to be 30%.  They may have thought that you were referring to the buy it now price on an auction.

That new listing form has been around for a while now but not everyone had to use it.  Now they seem to be forcing everyone to use it.

This may sound trivial, but try another browser with no add-ons and clear cache and cookies. Probably, this won't solve the problem, but for example, when I was switched to the new form, anything I typed into the description box disappeared after I  posted the item. Later I figured out that two add-ons (Ad Blockers) interfered with the form (they did not with the old form).

Now I have one browser set aside (MSFT edge) with no add-ons and always cleaned history, and I use that just for listing.

This link is a work-a-round for the old listing format:

There is a 30% rule [not a new one] that pertains to the difference between what you have the item listed for and the BIN price.

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-buy-now?id=4109#:~:text=Buy%20It%20Now%20option%3....

Buy It Now option: auctions

When you add a Buy It Now option to auction-style listings, buyers can either purchase your item right away at the Buy It Now price or place a bid. In most categories, the Buy It Now price must be at least 30% higher than the auction price.

When someone bids, the Buy It Now option usually disappears; however, in the case of reserve price listings, the Buy It Now option remains until the reserve price is met. In some categories, the Buy It Now option may continue to be available after the first bid for a limited time.

Just a little unsolicited note.  Your sales is likely to improve if you spent a little more time developing your Listing Titles.  And it wouldn't hurt to spend a little time on the descriptions too.

The characters you are allowed in the title of your listings is the most valuable of then entire listing.  Think like a buyer and used words that you would use if you were searching for the item.  Your titles are short and omit important words like Camera on some.  One you have cameracamera, the search engine will not see that as the word camera.

Watch your categories.  Like the MC Hammer doll you are selling you have that in GAMES.  It should be in dolls.

Hope that helps.
