I’m unsure of why you ask for information and when they do a courtesy of providing, you continue trying to engage them into a debate about it. Take the info for what it is. Or more importantly, ignore it since clearly you don’t want it.
You describe part of the purpose of what forums like this are for. The sharing of information, viewpoints and facts. Sometimes when someone shares information they believe to be correct, they are incorrect. They misunderstand in others words. This poster, while firm in their beliefs, misunderstand.
No one has asked for your advice or your interpretation of ebay’s policies.
No one asked you for your advice or interpretation either? I am not at all trying to be rude or flip, but are you saying it is OK for you to do this but not me? Why would that be? Do as I say not as I do??? You are aware these are DISCUSSION forums. You will find that most threads are full of similar posts once you spend more time here.
This is a post to share i information that someone else may find useful. Clearly you do not.
Certainly that is always possible. But when their conclusion on what that information is saying is incorrect, it is important to bring that to like so the misunderstanding doesn't travel on to other readers.
So, I’m also unsure why you make yourself part of it. I’m sure there are other forums for debating or sharing your opinions of what others should be doing with their belongings, how you do things, or since someone doesn’t see as you, they are wrong.
There is no need for me to go elsewhere as this is a forum for just what you describe and more.
It’s not this one. Hopefully of you have useful information to share, you will do so. Otherwise, allow others to use this forum as a way to help and inform each other. Thanks.
Interesting. I get it that you joined the forums this year and posted a few times. Maybe with a bit more experience you will widen your viewpoint to allow for other opinions, viewpoints and information shared.

The other poster had been price gouging on some of their previous listings. If you'd do a little more research before you assume you know what is going on it might be helpful. The poster you are so passionately defending is openly taking advantage of people during a worldwide pandemic. They are breaching rules set for by Ebay not to mention breaking some actual laws on price gouging.
I'm not at all sure what your agenda is here since you are new to the forums and this is my first interaction with you. I have no idea if you know the other seller personally or just share some of their same viewpoints on price gouging.
But either way, Ebay has banned such items as they were trying to sell and they have policies in place about price gouging. That seller defied both.
