Defect removed by e Bay REP is still appearing

Recently I have appealed for a DEFECT marked on my seller dashboard and got it removed through an e Bay representative. e bay sent me an e mail to say that the defect was removed and would take 24 to 48 hrs to disappear it from my seller dashboard. My defect has still not disappeared from the seller dash board even though 48 hours has been completed by yesterday. Please somebody advise me on this as to what should be my next step to get this removed from my seller performances.

Give it a week or so and it should be removed.

What sort of a defect did you have? I'm not even sure how it works for Sri Lankan sellers. More info, please...

Partially refunded for an item return case opened. Buyer accepted the partial refund and did not complete it.  e Bay issued the partial refund and removed my defect.

How are you able to offer PayPal as a payment option?  I thought your government didn't allow money to be received by PayPal, only sent.

When a buyer opens a return and says that the item is not as described you get a mark on your selling metrics.  Is that the ‘defect’ that you are referring to?  They usually don’t remove those even if the buyer doesn’t follow through on the return.

Not necessarily for an individual account, But.. yes for a business account

Yes, but buyer agreed to get a partial refund and keep the item. E bay REP has mentioned in his e mail that no seller performances would be affected since they have removed the defect. They wanted me to do nothing & wait 24 to 48 Hrs to remove it from my seller dashboard.
