I inherited a settee, arm chair and chair, that I'd like to properly date. Google lens didn't identify. How do I find more information?

Did you closely examine the bottoms to see if there are any makers marks or even possibly a date there?

Google cannot do everything. You have to do some homework yourself.
look for tags and provide photos to this post
You state you inherited. From who? This alone should give an idea on date / period the furniture was made.

The design or style may help you date it.
I did a bing search for "styles of vintage furniture guide" and partway down the page are pages and pages of vintage furniture styles. See if you can define the style or post some pictures so others can help you.

Post your question to the Collectibles & Art forum, as there are some people there who are knowledgeable about furniture.
You must include several good, clear, photos, including one or two showing details of construction and, of course, of any marks of any kind. Include any info you have about provenance; e.g., when you inherited it, when and where you think the people you inherited it from might have bought it, and the like.

My dad got them from a family member who had them. This was back in the 70's. They were in a basement. When I compare similar pieces it resembles Louie XIV. I wish I could post my pictures

That Louis XIV style furniture was heavily reproduced from the turn-of-the-century up until WWII. That's about as close to a production date as you'll probably get.
